About Me
Dr. Huguelet completed her undergraduate degree at Saint Louis University before finishing her medical training at Saint Louis University School of Medicine in 2004. She joined the University of Colorado faculty practice upon completion of her residency in 2008.
Dr. Huguelet specializes in pediatric and adolescent gynecology, performs minimally invasive surgery, and treats a variety of gynecologic issues including abnormal uterine bleeding, fibroids, uterine polyps, basic infertility, and contraception needs. Learn more about her pediatric and adolescent gynecology clinics.
Dr. Huguelet enjoys taking care of women through the full spectrum of care, but takes a particular interest in multiple gestations, given her own twin pregnancy. She values the close patient connection that develops through pregnancy care, and especially likes the unique experiences of the labor and delivery process.
Dr. Huguelet also has a special interest in caring for young girls and adolescents with gynecologic problems. She spends part of her work week at the Children's Hospital Colorado, where she is proud to offer solid answers, allay fears, and provide treatment to younger patients that otherwise wouldn't have had access to a higher level of expertise.
Her approach to treatment is to listen first, then ensure that each patient understands her own condition or situation. Dr. Huguelet always seeks to give her patients control over the process by empowering them with knowledge so they can make informed decisions about their care.
Dr. Huguelet believes her own life experiences – such as dealing with infertility before being able to conceive – gives her the ability to empathize with each patient's unique struggle or situation and provide the highest level of patient care.
Outside of University of Colorado OB/GYN, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three boys, as well as jogging, tennis, hiking, skiing, and being with friends.
